Ciriaco Griego

My passion for film began in 1998 where I started writing what I thought was going to be a novel; it later turned into a screenplay. I've been writing stories ever since. In 2002 I decided to attend the New York film Academy on the backlot of Universal Studios, L.A. I wrote, cast, scouted my locations and filmed my first short, "See a penny pick it up". I was so excited to film on the backlot of Universal Studios. I also acquired a permit to film downtown Los Angeles. By the way we filmed on 16mm cameras and cut on the old editing tables. We were also the first class to be trained on digital video editing. At this point I decided to be a writer, director. So I bought a camera, editing software and started filming. I attended many classes from the learning annex, and trained with some of L.A.'s leading professional writers and directors. Also went to many screenplay conventions.
