Isabel Brunner E

Isabel E is a writer from San Diego currently residing in Brooklyn. As a bi-sexual and mixed-race writer, she strives to capture the experience of being in the margins of community within her own work. A child of artists, she’s always been drawn to the way film intersects artistic disciplines like set design, scoring, and writing. This interest in creative expression inspired her to begin DJing, which has led to playing underground shows and producing events for the renowned nightclub House of Yes. A seasoned industry assistant, working under Pulitzer Prize-winning writers like Annie Baker and Robert Schennkan has had a deep influence on her writing. She studied at Emerson College, where writing and producing her own short films gave her a passion for writing for the screen. She is a recent graduate of the Writers’ Assistant track of the 2022 WGA Support Staff Training Program.
