Joseph Marconi

Joseph Marconi is a writer and director based out of Los Angeles. After a decade in advertising, Joseph returned to filmmaking via nightlife photography in New York City. In 2017, Joseph founded UPPERSTATE with the idea of telling the kind of stories that profoundly affected him alongside other talented filmmakers. Joseph edited the documentary feature HARGROVE which premiered at Tribeca 2022. He is a 2021 Film Independent Fellow (2021 Fast Track) and his feature film directorial debut, WILD ANIMAL, will go into production in 2023.
