Stephanie Griffin brings a unique, diverse lifetime of experiences to her literary work. A Master’s degree in Social Work, followed by years of producing and video editing for television at CBS, the Lifetime Network, A & E and finally NBC News, where she worked closely with NPR’s Scott Simon to create video essays on the issues of the day. A teaching career at a suburban high school in New Jersey where she inspired students with her knowledge of the human condition to her work as an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Her works have been performed at the Theatre Project, the Hoboken Playwrights Festival, the Riverhead Theater and the Hackensack Cultural Arts Center to name just a few locations in the New York metropolitan area. A scene from Death Club, Ladies Auxiliary was published by Smith & Kraus in THE BEST STAGE SCENES and her play, When the Circus Came to town was recently published in a 2018 anthology. Stephanie is a member of the Dramatists Guild & Philadelphia Dramatists Center.
