Kimmy K is a writer, comedian, and actor who was awarded the ‘Best New Writer Comedian Actor With Dreadlocks Living in East London Award’ for the last five not-so-straight years in a row. Combining his lived experiences as a Black man with gAyDHD, Kimmy K uses humour and plot twists to shed light on issues surrounding identity, mental health, and politics. He’s currently working on two semi-autobiographical psychological thrillers, one set for the stage and one limited series he hopes will be picked up by McDonald’s+ (or whatever streaming platform is created next). When he’s not in a creative space, you can find him on the tennis courts, avoiding therapy, or running anti-racism workshops for the charity he created.
