About Sean

I originally hail from Inverness in Scotland but have lived in London for many years.

I trained in Meisner technique with Tom Radcliffe at 'The Actor's Temple' (London) and also at 'The Bernard Hiller Academy' in Los Angeles. I continue to attend workshops and masterclasses from time to time to hone and develop the craft.

I believe that honesty in performance is paramount. The balance between the truth of the scene and a solid understanding of screen acting technique are what create the magic in every moment.

I thrive on the collaboration between cast and crew to breathe life into a story that needs to be given a voice and furthermore has something meaningful to say.

I recently finished work on my own film set during WW2 about two Russian Partisan brothers. The film was co-produced, written and directed by myself and my creative partner Dan Paton. I also play one of the lead characters, Yuri.

I love making films! There's no better reason to get out of bed in the morning!

Unique traits: I am usually cast as self sacrificing heroic characters - e.g. I recently played Randal McMurphy in 'One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest'. Antagonists with deep seated emotional or physical conflicts who have internal barriers to overcome in order to operate in stressful situations. Dangerous or edgy characters trying to function in a normal environment undetected. I have an excellent ability to perform several accents to a native standard.
