32 Year old screenwriter for film and television. I studied at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, graduated in 2010. Currently live in LA area and have been here for about two years. Before that I spent 3 years in Las Vegas and worked everywhere from Downtown Vegas to the northern suburbs for Tripadvisor/Viator. My time in Vegas was intriguing because I got a inside look at a new world to write about. One that survives in the desert against all odds.
Since my return to LA I've worked at the NYFA in Burbank and more recently the Independent Film & Television Alliance in Westwood. Both experiences were wonderful for me due to the fact of meeting more creative folks and learning from their journey. However, now with the pandemic things have changed and I've taken new roles such as a Covid Compliance Officer as well as studying to become a FAA Certified Drone pilot. I love working with creative people and seeing a project completed from beginning to end. Safety is priority #1 due to the coronavirus but I also feel there's many opportunities to start new projects. I love flying my Mavic Air 2 drone and currently building a portfolio of work so I may work for myself and help others achieve their visions through professional drone footage.
I welcome the Stage 32 community for new connections as well as continued learning for myself. My writing leans towards sci-fi/thriller and dark comedy genres. Currently working on a new draft of my pilot called Dustland Fairytale based on my time in Vegas. Also writing a new TV pilot about two siblings protecting their successful A.I. program that garners worldwide desire and inevitable control.
Unique traits: Adopted from Lima, Peru. Grew up in a small college town outside of Chicago, IL. Lived in Vegas for 3 years.
