A miserly activist is visited by three ghosts. Based on A Christmas Carol. 

SYNOPSIS:

EACH CHRISTMAS IS A STORY

Liberal Activist Adrian Slate is stopping Christmas celebrations in respect to the rights and liberties of others but seems to hold a certain dislike of Christmas, he refuses to give his clerk Lanne Wilson time off, and seems to have succeeded in preventing a Tree Lighting Ceremony and other Christmas festivals, but is then visited by the ghost of his mentor Abal Calloway who warns him that he is punished for his selfish misdeeds and abuse of power in life and so will he if he doesn’t change, and will be visited by 3 spirits.

Adrian is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past who shows him how he lived, and the controlling parents he had and how he wanted to celebrate Christmas but didn’t have good ones due to his workaholic father who took his liberal activism to far, even while his mother was more open-minded, and as years went by he worked with Abal and his addiction to his work cost him his fiancé and caused a strain between him and his late sister and nephew Jake Morgan.

The Ghost of Christmas Present shows him that Jake, and his new wife are enjoying Christmas and try to keep in touch with him even though he is distant from them. Adrian also learns that the Jewish community, and other people feel like Adrian and his group are exploiting them for control feeling no gratitude for their actions. Adrian also finds out that Lanne is a widow, and her son Mitchell was traumatized after his father’s death and how Christmas brought him some joy.

Then the Ghost of Christmas Future shows Adrian that because of his actions many people aren’t getting the help they need right away from charities his group shut down or limited, and that Mitchell was institutionalized and that he is dead and no one has come to see him, and he vows to change his ways. Adrian returns to the present and makes his changes, first drops the charges and has his organization back off, and ends their crusade and gives Lanne time off and reconciles with Jake and his family. Mitchell recovers, and it ends with God Bless with Everyone.
