Rebecca Merle is a spirited & versatile member of Actors Equity & SAG-AFTRA. Rebecca has an inherent sensitivity, sense of humor, and diverse ethnic background that make her distinctive.
She was born & raised in the US in the Midwest where she began performing in Equity theaters as a child. Her childhood provided ample opportunity for creativity, which she embraced largely through her work in the performing arts.
Rebecca brings camaraderie to the set; she sees work with other artists as an opportunity for creative synergy. She strives to bring truth & realism to her work through meticulous research and by digging deep within her own life experiences. She is equally engaged in her work as a writer and building her repertoire as a newly emerging comic.
Rebecca lives in New York City. Between projects, she's busy reading, writing, mingling with the characters in her neighborhood, generating ideas for new projects, experiencing new works, exploring the city's culture, silently observing, and, when possible, enjoying the peace of solitude.
Your support is genuinely acknowledged and appreciated - it takes a lot of positive people for an artist to exist & grow, so thank you very much for stopping by. If you'd like to stay in touch, please visit my Facebook and Twitter pages - thank you!
