Terese Ramin

Terese (Daly) Ramin is the oldest of eight children and mother of two. Much of Terese's work grew out of staying up well past the bedtime imposed by her parents and telling stories to her younger brothers and sisters.

Her first novel, Water from the Moon, won the Romance Writers of America Golden Heart Award. Her second won the Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice award. She is the author of ten romance and romantic suspense novels, numerous short stories, and is the creative force behind a charitable collaboration published in 2005 to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina.

With author David Wind, she co-wrote the medical-legal thriller The Whistleblower's Daughter.

Soul Keeper (Book 1 of The Brotherhood of Shadows), co-written with Dawn Johanson under the name Cathryn Marr, was published in 2019. Other work in that series includes two novellas - Emily's Halloween, Gift of the Magpie, The Midwife & the Angel Slayer, and the upcoming second complete novel in the series, Soul Bound.

Terese has spent a lifetime rescuing the dogs and cats (and the occasional reptile and amphibian) that turn up on her doorstep. She currently resides in Michigan with two rescued dogs.
