Nicky Whichelow

I started theatre acting at 16 with a chance audition win for the travelling Royal Shakespeare Company moving to semi-professional theatre for 12 years in the UK. I trained at Film School in 2010 but the school folded before I recieved my film reels and I have never got round to doing another one !!!.After going blind in 2011 with early and sudden cataracts I realised how powerful the spoken word was with audio books saving my mind. When my sight was restored a year later I trained to be a voice actor so I could volunteer at Talking Books for the Blind. At a chance recording, I was encouraged to turn professional which I did in 2012. A move to Australia in 2014 saw me continue my voice acting with overseas clients in the UK and the US, voicing global campaigns and an A$AP Rocky Music Video. I continued my love of theatre and regularly take the lead roles in a production a year.
