MAKE UP TEST
By John Adcox

GENRE: Comedy, Romance
LOGLINE:

A young woman who hates Christmas, and who wants to be noticed by an office hunk, makes a holiday wish that comes true in the most literal way possible, complicating both office politics and romance.

SYNOPSIS:

What if makeup really did what the labels suggest? LITERALLY? Janie Mason hates the whole Christmas season. When she's assigned the job of decorating her company's Festive Generic Multicultural and Non-Religiously-Specific Winter Holiday Party, on top of the piles of work she has to take home, it seems like the last straw. More, the man in the office that she has a crush on doesn't seem to notice her. Janie may be the least likely person in the world to make a Christmas wish. But she makes one all the same, mostly to get a tiny guy who claims to be an elf off her back. She wishes her makeup would really do what the names suggest. When her wish comes true-in the most literal, and hilarious, way possible-the results are nothing short of miraculous. Vanishing cream makes things vanish. Clarifying lotion clarifies complicated things. And Janie has yet to try lipstick or Antigravity Lift Cream (yes, there really IS such a thing!). Even at Christmas, be careful what you wish for. Because miracles, like love, are never what they seem.
