Nicholas Manuel Pino

Nicholas Manuel Pino is a Chilean American writer/director, committed to telling diverse stories. In 2018, he was awarded the “Emerging Voices Fellowship” from New Orleans Film Festival and was named a “40 Under 40 in New Orleans” in 2022 from Gambit Magazine. Also in 2020, he wrote and directed a feature film which stars Aubrey Joseph, Theo Rossi, Tyrese, Vivica A. Fox. Thomas Jane, and Nikki Blonsky. His scripts have been awarded commendations from leading screenplay contests and his films have screened in festivals around the world. Commercially, he's directed content for brands including, Live Nation, Spotify, Sony Records, Modelo, and Southern Comfort. He's won ""Best Music Video"" and “Best Commercial” from Offbeat Magazine. Recently, Pino directed a Juan Lafonta f/ Big Freedia commercial that’s been featured on Ellen, created a new category on Ridiculousness and was called ""Iconic"" by Fader Magazine."
