Gwendolynn Briggs

GIG is an American Singer-songwriter in Los Angles, California. You cant help
but to feel inspired by her soulful sound when she hits the stage. Born and raised
in Louisville Ky, She came from humble beginnings. Her childhood consisted of
church services where her mother sing in the choir. This sparked great interest
early on. Growing up she was inspired by many genres of music including R&B
Jazz, classic soul and Pop. She has participated in many TV music competitions
such as The Voice, American Idol and other local music contests. These
experiences helped cultivate her voice and develop her sound in music. In 2017
she debut her single "No More Sorries" the newly released single was performed
at various locations across Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky. Along with cover
songs that gained her great attention. She then moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to
further her career in music, and has since then released several singles's
following her most recent "See Me". She loves to collaborate with other
creatives allowing herself to be fully submerged in her passion. Music is therapy
for Gigi, and her goal is to inspire soul through her electric sound.
