Loulou D'Aki

I'm a Swedish photographer and writer based in Athens, Greece.
I've divide my time between assigned work around the world and my own projects that turn into exhibitions and books. I've been exhibited internationally and am currently working on a second book.
My first photobook, winner of Cortona on the Move dummy award un 2017, is called '' They call us dreamers but we're the ones who don't sleep'' - about youngsters growing up in the aftermath of the Arab spring revolution and how their dreams and aspirations are conditioned by society and external events.

Whether it is working on a documentary photo essay, a portrait series, capturing a story told on a stage or a fashion shoot - I love telling a story and find photography a wonderful tool with lots of possibilties.
I used to be a singer and am fluent in Swedish, English, French, Italian and get by with Spanish, German and Yiddish.
