Daniel Nogueira

Daniël Nogueira is a director based in Amsterdam. He has several years of experience in directing commercials for the international market and is now concentrating more on long format and storytelling. Daniël began his career as an in-house director for 180 in Amsterdam. His work has been numerously awarded, winning the Promax gold for best film promo, a silver Epica award, Webby award, HAFF best music video and receiving nominations from ADCN, the Dutch Art Director’s Association.
Some of the clients he has worked for are Amstel, ABN, MTV, Adidas, Guess, Sony, Strongbow and Hunkemöller.

A post-graduate of the University of Dundee, his thesis film "Solitair" received a best student film award at the 1997 Dutch Film Festival and was screened at numerous National and International festivals.

Daniël’s short film ‘The Happiest Couple Alive’ has completed a successful festival run and can soon be found on several online providers. He has recently finished work on a six-part documentary series called ‘Inside The Mind Of A Con Artist’ with producer Topkapi nonfiction and Curiosity Stream.
