I've been moving and hopping and drifting for a while. Lived in San Diego, Seattle, Edmonton, and now as of April 2013 I'm in Austin, Texas.

I served in the US Navy as an aircraft mechanic for 9 years...
Was a computer tech for a few years...
Shot wedding photo and video for 10+ years...
I've shot a documentary (Hurricane Katrina victims)
Shot kids figure skating (fun, not a lot of money)
School plays (kind of fun, at least more sales!)

Most recently did a bit of motorcycle traveling / camping, shot lots of pics and video, in Alberta, BC, Yukon, NWT, Alaska, Washington State, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Now its time to sit still, grow some (temporary!) roots, and buy some more gear.
