Sara Quintela

I began my drama classes in a local workshop Ecos D'Arte in 2004, Portugal, although it was in 2009 when I had my first intensive course, involving acting, singing and modeling.
In 2010, I began working as an actress, mainly in short-films.
Because once a drama, always a drama I start attending to several workshops at ACT - Actors School, and later on deepen my knowledge at Meisner Technique, with John Frey.
The only professional theater where I work with was Lisbon Players, the others plays were insert in workshops or intensive courses.
In 2010 I heard about a Musical Theater Course, and i had to attend it. It was one of the best experiences, because for the first time i knew that i had a voice to actually sing, besides the fact I had Paula Careto as my dance rotine teacher and Ricardo Gageiro as drama teacher.
In 2011 i've scrubbed in GTL - Academic Group, where I had the opportunity to have José Ávila da Costa as my director/coach.

In cinema I had the opportunity to work with directors as Rita Santana, Marco Laureano, Gonçalo Malaquias, Miguel Azevedo, Teresa Sousa, Lygia Perrolas, Tatiana Néné.

This last year, I'm finishing my Master Degree in International Relations, focusing the main role of Film Tourism in a region, at NOVA - Lisbon University.
