About Vibha

Vibha Kulkarni is an Indian director and writer based in Los Angeles for whom storytelling is a tool for self-discovery. She explored different storytelling media for a decade, ranging from Fine Art, Performance Art, Independent Theater, Indian Classical Dance, Acting, Poetry, Interactive Technology, and New Media, before falling in love with filmmaking. As a misfit torn between the lens of Indian traditions and Western ideologies, Vibha attempts to bridge the two, while working with themes of acceptance and self-reflection.

Vibha is a recent MFA Directing Alum at the American Film Institute Conservatory, Los Angeles, and an M.Des New Media alum at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
