As a director, I have built an award-winning catalog of films and music videos that have screened at more than 30 film festivals across the country, including Orlando Film Festival, Portland Film Festival, and Sidewalk Film Festival. My style is based on classical film grammar and audience-friendly narrative ups and downs, with a touch of indie film grit and psychological tension.
My films include the micro budget feature film The Nocturnal Third, a trilogy of noir-inspired music videos featuring rising hip-hop artist King Kwofi, and the short thriller Dead Saturday, featuring Oscar nominee Eric Roberts (Runaway Train).
My family immigrated to the United States from Germany when I was 3 years old. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2006 with a degree in Telecommunications & Film and have since developed parallel careers as an independent filmmaker and multimedia project manager, working with clients such as NASA, National Parks Service, and the Alabama Bicentennial Commission.
I am currently in post-production on his second feature film, Don’t Die - a crime thriller starring Theodus Crane (The Walking Dead), Virginia Newcomb (The Beta Test), Frank Mosley (Freeland), and Joshua Burge (The Revenant).
