Donella Fox trained at Bretton Hall College of the University of Leeds in Theatre Devised & Applied. As yet unpublished, she is fast emerging on the London Theatre circuit. She has appeared in numerous stages productions as an actress. She can also be found on occasion performing in her own work. Her first one act play, Fallen Angels, was inspired by The Radiohead OK Computer Album and was shown as far back as 1999 both at Bretton Hall, Leeds and in Sheffield. After putting her writing pen down to focus on acting and film production she returned to writing in 2010 Bev & The Dragon, a short play at The Rose Theatre, London. Embankment. This was followed by her one act play “Firefly” performed at Stratford Theatre Royal East, Open Stage/ Angelic Tales Festival. It gained reviews such as “I’d very much like to see what Fox comes up with next – ‘Firefly‘ is a remarkable achievement for a new writer.” Londoneer. March 2012. In August 2012, her monologue “Echos’ of a lost identity. “ was performed at The Cockpit Theatre, Marylebone. In December 2012 she joined London New Play Festival and Nordic Nomad for The Clash, London Calling Plays as an actress and writer."Catch the Falling Leaves" a section from her new comedy play, was performed at The Cockpit Theatre, March 2013. She is currently completing BabySHAM a two act play.
