By Heather Magee

LOGLINE:

The quirky owner of a small flower shop is determined to find love, despite her tendency to hide amidst the day-to-day demands of her business, until a mysterious customer unearths her longing for romance and unlocks a glimpse into her future.

SYNOPSIS:

Sophie sits in her tiny flower shop set in a sleepy Vancouver suburb, with dreams of falling in love and family, but represses her romantic tendencies in exchange for the responsibilities of owning a business. Her pushy yet protective best friend pokes holes in Sophie’s unfeeling façade until eventually an unusual customer whose weekly visit in search of white hydrangea ignites a curiosity Sophie had been tucking away. One day, following one such visit, a chase ensues revealing something that shocks Sophie to her core. An instance that cracks her emotional armour and allows for a little light to shine in.

Sounds good but is just a tiny bit bland. I would recommend making Sophie's character more unique and relatable rather than just making her quirky and shy.
