I did born in Santiago Chile ..when I was 3 yesrs old we move to Caracas Venezuela for a year to be with my father , he was a metallurgical engineer then..after a year he send my 4 siblings and my 8 months pregnant mother back to Chile ..that is the last time I sought him...never again.
We went trough life on the border of poverty ,but our mother auntie and grand mothers they make sure we have a secure childhood and a good education.The sacrifice they make for us is just beyond human love. amazing life in Santiago.
I grow up with my 3 brothers and 2 sisters..living with my maternal grand mother an auntie till 13 years old hy then my mother managed to buy a little house en the mostly middle class suburbs ...where Isabel Allende use to room..well teens years was full of adventures and discovery.
I grown to be an acceptable pretty young teen..from there on start college and working in a Gas Plant 2 hr and 45 minutes away from home..traveling every day for 2 years, during the night go to college to study
