Since 1st grade, my education has surrounded the arts. After years of acting and violin training, I struggled being comfortable in the spotlight until 14 year old me found my calling in supporting and managing those who strive for that light. I am a lover of all art forms and sought to try my hand at every field. I have worked in theatre, film/TV, events, festivals, dance, and opera, while always holding room to expand my knowledge further.
As a queer Black woman in the arts - inclusivity, empowerment, and empathy is the root of my philosophy as a manager. Discovering the behind-the-scenes job market is difficult, which results in a non-diverse environment. Through my career, I am striving to create more inclusive practices and uncover these fields for others within BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I am continuing to build my career as a manager-of-all-trades, with a goal to continue to work in production and events. I hope I am granted the opportunity to learn, grow, and bring a new perspective to your organization.
