Samir Radwan

Samir Radwan is an independent film editor and director based in Cairo, Egypt. His work has been featured in international and local film festivals. In 2020 his short film “Fasten your Seatbelts while Seated” was awarded Best Experimental Film at Sharjah international film festival, and in 2022 his film “Folds of Wind” got a special mention at Amarcort Film Festival. In 2022, Samir was the editor of the “Break chains with Blockchains” project which was awarded three silver lions and 5 shortlists in Cannes lions international festival of creativity. Radwan aspires to be a great influence in the independent filmmaking industry and to portray himself as much as possible in his work.
