Everyone has a shadow, and many fear death and the fate of their souls. It’s a very relatable, engaging premise that’s easy to grasp. When the gory thrills of the high concept layer are stripped away, “Deadly Shadows” is a movie about the dangers in military science of lack of respect for life, uncontrolled ego, and greed, with the shadows themselves being an allegory for the lethal operations of covert agencies using soldiers as fodder for their tests. -
