Denise Powers

Denise Powers is a filmmaker based between Paris, France and Los Angeles. As a producer, screenwriter, and director, she has brought her unique vision to three short films that have screened at festivals worldwide (Europe, North America, Africa, South America and Asia!) and garnered numerous prizes. Her creative vision is rooted within a realist aesthetic, and her character-driven stories engage with themes related to commitment, belonging and gender inequality, often centering women's experiences.
