Mac’s unique and exciting approach to film scoring bring new colors and dimensions to cinematic storytelling.

After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado and Northwestern University, he began a career teaching music, but never lost his love for composing. Being a trumpet player he wrote for his instrument as well as concert band, choir or symphony orchestra
Mac began writing film scores when his son Monte began producing his own short film. Before long short films became feature films and Mac began writing more and more. Growing together as artists, father and son have worked for Terrorfilms and James Cullen Bressack. These include the feature films, SPACE, Blood Covered Chocolate and Bittertooth.
