Polly MacLane

After a successful twenty-year career in education
teaching high school and college English students, Polly
is developing her creative talents. She has a bachelor's
degree in communication with an emphasis in public
relations from Georgia Southern University and a
Master’s degree in English from the University of West
Georgia.

As a PhD. candidate at Georgia State University in
literary studies, Polly enjoys writing and developing IP
scripts and series for television and film. Her first series
script, Time In, Time Out, is inspired by the source text
for William Shakespeare’s 1604 Play, Measure for
Measure. The series, like the play, raised questions
about the meaning of justice and how far human
beings will go to achieve it.

Polly’s mission as a creative talent is to bring history
and literature to the screen in ways that are accessible
to current and future audiences.
