Aksharaa Agarwal is a creative aspiring to bring her vision to life through the art of the screen. A Chancellor's Award winning scholar, she has recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and Visual Arts as a distinguished Daylell Scholar.
She has been a part of several minor productions such as AIPA's 'The Bully' (2024), and Chanel Loren's 'Ring Ring' music video (2024).
She has work experience with cinemas such as The Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace, Cremorne, and Dendy Cinemas Newtown. She has worked as part of the 70th and 71st editions of the Sydney Film Festival.
She is also building her professional showreel and portfolio with video works such as 'Youth' (2023), 'Screen Dreams' (2023), and micro shorts such as 'Longing' (2023). In 2023 she directed her short play 'Endearing' for The Sydney University Dramatic Society slot 4.
She has been a Student Mentor and Faculty Partner for the discipline of Film Studies. She was the President of The University of Sydney Film Society from 2023-24 and is currently the Chief Editor of their magazine BestBoy, which she founded.
