About Mara
I am passionate about educating and informing audiences about vital issues of our time through entertaining and crowd-pleasing film. I am a co-founder of Valmar Films. I started in film by doing research and interviewing hundreds of victims of trafficking as part of my doctoral thesis and found that producing films, which blends business and relationship-building, is another area where I thrive. I love meeting new people and collaborating to help wonderful storytelling come to life through film. I am also committed to helping underserved and underrepresented communities experience the visual arts. I'm excited to join Stage32!
