Upstroke Comedy In the heart of Orange County's modern day ska scene, Upstroke is a 30-minute mockumentary sitcom that humorously chronicles the misadventures of Max, an egotistical, overly-optimistic lead singer and his eccentric ska band of misfits on their pursuit of stardom. But with his drunk sister as their manager, growing tensions (sometimes sexual) and the fact that ska music hasn’t been popular since 1998 - will they make it to the top? Or just… out of their parents’ garage?
