Nina Wu was born in Shanghai, China, and moved to Kansas City, USA, at age 16. After discovering her passion for film and acting, Nina drove 27 hours straight to Hollywood, California to pursue her dream. In Los Angeles, Nina started landing roles in feature films and series until an exploratory trip to the Hong Kong Filmart opened her eyes to the thriving world of Chinese cinema. With her unique bi-lingual and bi-cultural background, Nina quickly established her acting career in China, working with elite filmmakers such as Jiang Wen, Daniel Lee, and Michael Bay. In 2019, she became WWE China’s first on-air personality. Nina is currently working on her directorial debut, a feature documentary "Sisters", a story she is destined to tell with the help of her family.
