A seven-year-old girl ventures into the mirror world to find her missing father, only to encounter copies of her parents who hunt her and prevent her from returning home.

SYNOPSIS:

Seven-year-old Tanya lives with her mother and misses her father, who mysteriously disappeared two years ago. One night, she dreams of him — kind and gentle, just as she remembers. He tells her he’s alive but trapped in a world beyond the mirrors, and gives her a magical key that will allow her to reach him.

When Tanya wakes up, she finds the old-fashioned key lying on her desk. Believing her father is waiting for her, she touches the mirror with the key and steps through — entering the mirror world. But instead of her father, Tanya finds herself in a strange replica of her home, filled with gray fog, silence, and cold.

Looking through the mirror, she sees her reflection now living in her place in the real world. A voice of another girl reveals the truth — the ghosts of the mirror world lure children inside to take their place among the living. Those who remain beyond the mirror become prisoners of this realm, slowly fading until they turn into ghosts themselves.
