Hey! I am a 21 year old film student. I studied digital film making for 2 years at a small college in Vermont (Champlain College), and I recently moved to Vancouver where I am studying film in the Fine Arts program at Simon Fraser University.
I strive to be a Director of Photography someday and spend a lot of my time outside school just shooting whatever I can to develop my craft. I love collaborating with other all other types of artists and like-minded people and am really interested in other's visions. I will never turn a thought-out project down, and am more than willing to bring whatever I can to the table, from my personal opinion and vision to my gear (although I would prefer if there was insurance involved)
I am best at shoot with DSLRs and own a Canon 7D with a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 DX , Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX, and Canon 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS. I also own a Manfrotto 519B, 546BK fluid head tripod system, Ikan VH7 external monitor, Proaim Follow Focus and Rack, Merlin Steadicam, and .75m Glidetrack.
I have also started my lighting collection, although as of now I only own a 500 LED Panel and 250 LED Panel w/ softbox from Cool Lights. I love them though and have a few DIY light controls (cookie cutter, bounces, etc.)
Let me know if you want to work on anything with me, I am still developing my demo reel, but it will be up soon.
