SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis of My Indian Sister DRAMA -CROSSOVER “My Indian Sister” is about fraternal twins Sundari and Lovely Krishnan, of an Indo-American couple. While Sundari Krishnan resembles her father Suresh Krishnan, Lovely resembles her mother Margaret Krishnan. This story is mainly about the hatred Lovely has for her sister and how the hatred is turned to love by Sundari. At the beginning of the story, Sundari comes from India and learns how Margaret Krishnan got married to Suresh Krishnan in the traditional South Indian manner. As a teenager Lovely Krishnan falls in love with the school hero Bob Evans .One day Sundari finds kissing him in the locker room and informs her parents. Her parents stop her from going to the promos. Bob Evans finally goes to the promos with another girl. This incident has such an impact, that Lovely feels only hatred for her sister. Suresh Krishna finds that Lovely Krishnan has posed nude for a magazine. When he shouts at her, Lovely is not contrite but behaves rudely. He therefore throws her from the house .Lovely walks away nonchalantly. Sundari joins Law College, due to a TV reality show and here at a debate session, she wins while speaking about Muslims in India. Mumtaj Begum, who is her opponent in the debate and herself a member of a terrorist group, vows to take revenge on Sundari. . Sundari is than arrested as a terrorist. In the jail Sundari though at first is despondent, later becomes calm. She wins the heart of the warden and other inmates. She saves the life of the guard, at a prisoner’s shoot-out. The warden helps her to become a lawyer and she pleads her innocence successfully. She then founds an organization called "Hope Free Legal Aid for Destitute Women”.. Lovely becomes a model with the help of Eva Hurst, a woman running a model agency. Michael Hustings, a Director, gives her a MC role in his film and the movie becomes a hit. Slowly romance develops between the director and the actress. She starts living with him. Lovely finds herself pregnant. While Michael is happy, she does not want the child and aborts it. Michael is disappointed and cuts ties with her. Lovely Krishnan does not receive any more offers, so Eva Hurst asked her to meet Anthony Desiredio. Anthony Deiredio a sex pervert physically assaulted and raped her. However, she continued to work with him as she was bound by a contract. But not for long, he took her to Nirvana club, and there due to the ecstasy of drugs he assaulted her. When Lovely Krishnan protested he burned her with a cigar. Lovely flew into a terrible rage, and hit his head with a wine bottle. He started bleeding and swooned. Cathrina Jones, a model finds him bleeding and she screams. This alerts the manager, who summons the doctor and declare him dead. The manager informs the police. By investigation the police suspect Lovely Krishnan. Lovely flees to Miami and changes her identity to Dawn Netsana. She works as a hostess in a hotel. A special detective Guy Fletcher traces her to this hotel and she is arrested, and sends her to a California jail. Michael Hustings comes back into her life and requests that she take her sister’s help. Lovely agrees to take her help with hesitation. Sundari then pleads her case in court. She wins it. In the final scene at a party Lovely Krishnan announces her engagement with Michael Hustings and this she attributes to Her Indian Sister. & & & & & & &
