Recently graduated with first class honours from a degree in Journalism & Broadcasting, I'm currently operating as a freelance journalist. At present, I write regular reviews and interviews for Music News, and have also written for Such Small Portions, Media Blasphemy and the rock band Queen.
In January 2010, I founded alternative comedy website The Velvet Onion, which offers promotion to a wide network of frequently collaborating comedians, actors, writers, directors, musicians and other creative types. The site continues to grow, and I am proud to say it has gained the respect of broadcasters, production companies and artists. TVO has given me a proven track record in public relations and promotion, and allowed me to produce detailed, high quality work to tight deadlines on a regular basis in tandem with my degree.
I spent seven years prior to my degree in retail management positions, adhering to various protocols, as well as gaining exemplary skills in customer service.
