Nate Cannon

I'm the transgender author of the highly acclaimed memoir, Running on a Mind Rewired, published under my former female name, Jennifer Cannon. This book has been used as required course material in colleges and is also utilized as a teaching tool and resource in hospitals and treatment centers around the country. 

I'm currently penning my second memoir while pursuing my MFA and am seeking a screenwriter to adapt my first book into a screenplay.

In addition to my work as an author, I am an up and coming public speaker. I have given talks to audiences ranging from high schools to medical schools, both within the Twin Cities and throughout the region. With some luck (and good networking) I hope to establish a more national platform.

I enjoy long distance running, hockey, cats and ice cream.
