Matt Davies

Matt works as a full time Sound Designer, Foley Artists and Sound FX Editor at Studio Unknown in Baltimore, Maryland. Studio Unknown is a full service audio post facility, with the mid-atlantic's only Dolby® Tuned and Approved Theatrical DubStage.
Through the variety of interesting indie films and commercials that come through the studio, Matt has supplied imaginative and unique sound design to everything from psychological horror movies (like 'Lovely Molly') to high end sports promos (for UnderArmour and Run For Your Lives). He also lends his voice to unique creature sounds and uses his background in fine-arts sculpture to make custom-built instruments to get the "right" sound for a given sound design element.
Matt strongly believes in tying Sound Design and Foley to the core concept of any project, because in the end not only is the experience more visceral, but it becomes more genuine in turn.
