Alyssa Scheidemann

I grew up in Wayne, New Jersey, and moved to Florida when I was 15, where I currently reside .
As a poet, writer (mostly fiction writer but working on screenwriting skills), and up and coming author, I always loved reading poetry and books all my life which led to my love of writing, especially poetry and stories. Besides books, I also have a strong love for films.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University, along with a focus in creative writing.
I've had four articles published in a local magazine called Pulse.
My first poetry book is Seasonal Lives Poetry Collection: With Me.
My Children's book series is The Allegra Series. The first book is The Enchanted Forest and was released on September 19th, 2012.
I am currently working on other future book projects.
