I've been a lucky s.o.b. to end up with a broadcasting career which has been spent on the air in Washington, DC and Chicago.
Years were spent on Alternative Rock radio as well has hosting a TV show.
Now, I'm after an amalgamation of TV, multi-media, hosting, production, video, photography, voice-over, etc.
Need somebody to host something? To interview someone? To present something? To relate anything from strange foreign locales to highly technical products to the layman? These are the sort of things I can do for you.
For fun I show up in random places, many of them off-the-grid. I talk to people, I engage with them, I learn about their life, I record it, I photograph it, and document the whole thing. What becomes of all that material is still top-secret, but if you like the sound of it and are one of those sponsor-types, let's talk!
-Interviewing: I can talk to anyone, and I practically have.
-Writing: No formal training. But I get my point across.
-Broadcasting: Radio? Check. Live TV in a studio with prompter? Done it. TV live on location with a producer yapping in my ear? Adept. Conceiving/field producing/hosting/writing of shoots and packages? Oh yes.
-Relating to an audience: Sounds simple, doesn't it? But I'm serious. I'm the guy on the air about whom everyone says, "Well, I could totally have a beer with that dude".
-Photography: I'm really getting the hang of it.
-Audio editing: Pro Tools, Adobe Audition
-Audio engineering/recording/editing/processing and video editing: I don't just babble into a microphone and then hand it off to someone else to deal with. I'm a one-man content making machine.
-Video editing: Teaching myself right now.
-Blogging/basic HTML: Well, who can't at this point?
If I can be of some use to you, I'd love to hear from you. Outside of lame self-pimping/professional stuff, please feel free to connect if you've also got a penchant for exploration, music, photography and definitely hockey.
