About Corinna

My name is Corinna Mendis and I am a writer and Indy film maker. Currently I work as a Physician Assistant on a detox unit, and am in pre-production on a documentary about Addiction.
I have written one feature film loosely based on a murder that took place in my town, and have written a few TV spec scripts and TV Pilots that have been recognized in a few Screenwriting contests. I have also written and produced a TV Pilot loosely based on my experiences working at a homeless shelter.

Film EP/Writer When Sadie Metz begins her counseling internship at a local men's homeless shelter, she realizes she signed up for more than what she bargained for. This is a half dark-comedy about a girl who tries to help others, and in doing so finds that she is helping herself as well.
