About Jon

Jon Stevens Alon bio:

Tracing his proud Castilian Sephardi roots to Toledo, Spain and Algeria, Israeli born, at the age of thirteen, Jon Stevens Alon's secular family immigrated to Brooklyn, New York. Unable to fit in and resentful of the fanatic Israel hating Eastern European Hasidic ghetto Jews, Jon gravitated toward young Sicilian teenagers, and in an effort to belong to the gang of aspiring hoods, thanks to his Hispanic looks and Middle Eastern culture he passed easily as an Italian named "Frankie." Jon returned to Israel to proudly serve in the IDF as a 105mm Centurion tank gunner combat veteran. Previously married to a Puerto Rican in NY, the last 10 years Jon is married to a Brazilian Christian Evangelist born in the state of Bahia known as the cultural heart of Brazil, who he credits with blessing his life with love and joy and therefore his mission is to make her happy. In between the two marriages he was with a Cuban lady, which in addition to being an avid Salsa dancer in NYC, serving as the writer/producer of ALGO ESPECIAL: VAYA! a series Latin TV Variety Specials sponsored by Faberge featuring the hottest Puerto Rican and Cuban Salsa bands including Tito Puente, Hector "El Cantante" Lavoe, Ray Barreto, Richy Ray and Bobby Cruz, Johnny Pacheco & his singer Pete "El Conde" Rodriguez, famed Jewish-American Salsa band Larry Harlow Orchestra & his singer Ismael Miranda, Willie Colon, Justo Batancourt, etc., his relationships, in depth familiarity with both Spanish and Portuguese language telenovelas and teleseries, extensive due diligence including experience in marketing direct to the consumer, has given Jon a solid grasp of the domestic and international Latino, and other diversity markets.

Mistreated by a step-mother, he ran away from home at the age of 16. Leaving the Brooklyn street gang life behind, working days, studying nights, and dancing Salsa on weekends, he graduated the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, and overcoming handicaps shared by many immigrants to America, Jon developed the linguistic, creative and business skills, helping him become an award winning Writer's Guild of America screenwriter, Director's Guild of America Production Manager, and Director of the award winning feature film IRISH WHISKEY. He wrote and produced Demi Moore's debut film CHOICES, served as a literary agent, story consultant, produced Latin variety specials for Canal 47 (NYC,) worked at ABC Television (NYC) and 20th Century Fox (LA) as a production executive, and is currently the Founder/CEO of TSO, working to fund his global multimedia, multicultural content provider startup company with 70 projects in development, 12 advanced, 4 completed "subscription" cable TV pilot scripts & a completed feature film to be adapted as a sitcom.

Jon's motto in life: regardless how humble your beginnings, regardless failure, setbacks, obstacles, hardships, disappointments, enemies, never, ever, give up on accomplishing your dreams. Character is tested not after you celebrate a victory, but by what you do when your back is against the wall.

At a low point in his life, Jon started attending the AGAPE Center of Truth, and credits Reverend Dr. Michael Beckwith, and later, Joel Osteen, and TD Jakes, with his spiritual rebirth which provided him the inner-strength to endure and rise triumphant over the trials and tribulations of life. Jon is also thankful to others who have inspired him, Steve Jobs, the brilliant strategist Robert Greene whose books 48th Laws of Power, 33 Strategies of War, The 50th Law, Mastery and YouTube videos have changed his life learning to become a "business strategic warrior," motivational speaker Les Brown, Evan Carmichael and his Believe Channel Ten Rules of Success series on YouTube, Tony Roberts, Zig Zigler, Brian Tracy, Trump's genius lawyer George H. Ross who wrote the masterpiece book "Trump Style Negotiations" regarding business negotiations, "angels" within the film industry who were kind to him, Jack Woltz at 20th Century Fox, Frank Leonetti, Bob Harvey at Panavision, Roger Mayer at MGM, Rick Thomas at DeLux Labs, Bill Ewing at MGM, Elliot Williams, at the DGA, Pacific Titles, Big Picture Company, Michael Schoenbrunn at Paramount, Bill O'Brien, TJ Castronovo, Mike Carazza, Bill O'Brien, Mark Harris, Arnold Salloway, Barry Perelman, Frank Jones, Jeff Berquist, Dan Marcus, Jon Mercedes, Paul de Champs, John Marlo, etc., friends Sol Danhi, David Sanchez, John De George, Sam Firstenberg, Isaac Florentine, Ronnie Hadar, and last but not least, his great beloved wife Lira, sons Rami, Thauan, Thales, daughter Danielle, loyal cousins Ateet, Tommy, Thomas L, Rami A, and Robbie.

Jon has authored and published 6 books on Amazon Kindle/CreateSpace (, is currently, in addition to working on a sequel to Love, Passion, Jealousy set completely in Spain, working on four other books, while engaged in the fight of his life to fund TSO, his disruptive global multimedia content provider startup company.

Asked how he can handle all this pressure, Jon says, "having also served in the IDF, anyone who had experienced combat and seen death in the eye, can handle anything."About Us | Terms of Use | Privacy Policy Contact Us | Help | User Blog | Links
