Kyle Thomas began Hesperidian Productions in early 2011. Their goal of creating feature film-quality projects has allowed them to reach a rapidly expanding audience across the nation and around the world. "Awakening," released in November, has garnered the prestigious "Excellence in Filmmaking" award at the 2012 Canada International Film Festival and is currently in competition at other film festivals. Kyle Thomas operates with energy and efficiency; with a background in writing, cinematography, psychology, and theatre, Kyle Thomas has been synthesizing his skills and producing professional work since 2009. His network has grown globally with a rapidly expanding fan base. He has connections with collaborators in all regions of the United States ranging from music production, video distribution, performance, and scriptwriting. Kyle Thomas and Hesperidian Productions were awarded "Filmmaker of the Year" by the Chicago Chapter of the nation's largest organization of independent artists at the end of 2012.
