Kate has in excess of 40 production credits ranging from low to $18M budgets in Iceland, Morocco, Poland, Hungary, Isle of Man, Wales, Jersey and Scotland. Alongside which she has authored script breakdowns, schedules, budgets, cashflows, business plans and brochures for in excess of 40 features and feature doc's. Working closely with the writer of FLY ME TO DUNOON for two years led to Scottish Screen awarding £25k development and £500k production finance to her project; their report read: “Excellent! A beautifully crafted piece of work… original AND commercial. We want to see these characters made flesh”.
Of her work on DANGEROUS PARKING Peter Howitt (LAWS OF ATTRACTION, ANTI TRUST, SLIDING DOORS, JOHNNY ENGLISH) wrote:
“The film would not have made it to - and through shooting - without Kate's great tenacity, determination and leadership. Her dedication to the cause is unquestionable. I have never known a producer put in the hours or effort under pressure that Kate did, repeatedly pulling off results and leading from the front. The film eventually came in on time and under budget. This is a real achievement under what were the most testing conditions imaginable.”
Feature credits include: BEING JULIA (Annette Benning, multiple awards incl Oscar nomination for Ms Bening), LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES (Catherine Deneuve, Rupert Everett, Natassja Kinski), THE EXORCIST: THE BEGINNING (Stellan Skarsgaard, James D’Arcy), IRISH JAM (Anna Friel), DANGEROUS PARKING, winner Best Director Tokyo FF 2007, NEW TOWN KILLERS (Dougray Scott), THIRD STAR opening film at Edinburgh IFF (Benedict Cumberbatch), 7LIVES (Martin Compston & Craig Conway).
