I was born in Thibidoux, Louisiana in 1983, and grew up in and around the Baton Rouge area. I attended Louisiana State University, graduating 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in drawing and painting. Somewhere in between those two dates, I fell in love with comic books, cartooning, and art in general. So, armed with my BFA and a brain full of nerdy know-how, I set out into the world of freelance artwork. Since then, I have worked for a myriad of clients, using every style and medium imaginable.
For the last five years, I have also been the in-house illustrator at Lamar Advertising. In that time, I rose through the ranks to also become a Senior Graphic Designer, making artwork for all kinds of businesses in addition to my beloved comic books. Lamar Graphics houses the largest art department in the southeast. I've had the opportunity to train a new crop of artists, in addition to learning from some of the best graphic professionals I've ever encountered.
I still live here in Baton Rouge with my lovely wife and son. I only occasionally don a mask to fight crime.
