SYNOPSIS:

Arizona is an erotic thriller with elements of dark Woody situational humor and fairy tale magic. After his bus breaks down in the Arizona desert, Chris Higgins, a young child psychologist in a professional and personal crisis, chooses to hitchhike with another passenger, a neurotic but overconfident tiny fellow, Larry. They are picked up by nutty bug terminator Ben who is heading to a Super Bowl party. After driving for a little while, they run into a woman, Jane, who is also hitchhiking in the desert. Seductive and provocative, Jane invites them to her house for a drink. Chris and Larry refuse but Ben ignores their pleas to continue driving. As they are having drinks at Jane’s lone ranch, Jane’s husband rushes in and begins beating the men in a jealous rage. Ben escapes in the chaos. Instead of attacking Chris, though, the husband drags Larry into the basement and locks him in an improvised impregnable prison cell… and leaves Chris alone with Jane. Jane reveals her secret to terrified Chris. Her husband is impotent and they have an agreement that Jane can see other men. The reason he locked Larry up is to make sure that Chris does not do anything wrong to Jane until the husband returns in the morning to let him out. Chris is outraged but eventually succumbs to Jane’s seduction and engages in passionate sex with her.
