SYNOPSIS:

The interviewees tell how—and why—they started the gang in the 1970s and how L.A. street gangs became worldwide organizations with followers from Germany to South Africa. The founders and original members tell fascinating stories surrounding the merger of the Baby Avenue and the Compton crews, about the rise and fall of their friend Tookie Williams, and on the impact that gangs have had on African-American communities and American society in general.
