About Kate

Kate was born in Varna, Bulgaria. She was found to have an acting and singing talent at a very young age and went on to win several competitions throughout Bulgaria.
At the age of 13, she moved to England. After attending Roedean School, she went on to study at the Drama Centre London.
During a lengthy stay in Moscow, she was cast as Nina in a production of “The Seagull” and Lizaveta in “The Queen of Spades” at the Vakhtangov Theatre.
In Los Angeles, she can be seen in several upcoming projects.
Some of her credits include Nora in Strindberg’s “A Doll’s House”, Imogen in “Cymbeline” at London’s Shakespeare’s Globe and Yasmin in David Edgar’s “Pentecost” among others.
Her latest film DEBRIS Escombros is currently in the festival circuit and has won various awards including Best International Short at Manchester International Film Festival and an award at Hollyshorts Film Festival in LA.
