While Quintin Moore and the Stormbringer crew continue their voyage to the unknown, Steward Annika Blackmore tries to navigate a political labyrinth on Earth and Ranlin

SYNOPSIS:

Months after the battle of Procellia Annika Blackmore has returned to Ranlin, given up her power as Queen and taken on the role of Steward. She cuts all ties to the dictator (and her former husband) Seldon Walker and instead lets the people vote on whether or not she will stay in power. Her plan had been to either return to the Galactic Throne as Queen Regent or leave office and let the people decide who their next leader would be. Her plan changes when a young, charismatic politician rises to challenge her. Complicating things and even putting her life in danger.

Quintin Moore (now captain of the Stormbringer) continues to lead his crew towards the mysterious signal. Learning along the way that the "Otherside" may hold unimaginable power... and that he may have to make devestating sacrifices to unlock its secrets.
